Last updated: April 2026

1. The service

Conjoin is a documentation assistant for licensed couples and family therapists. It transcribes recorded sessions and drafts structured progress notes. Conjoin does not provide clinical advice or substitute for clinician judgment.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and either a licensed clinician or a pre-licensed clinician under supervision to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the accuracy of every note you finalize.

3. Subscriptions & trials

Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time from Settings; your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. PHI & HIPAA

A Business Associate Agreement is executed automatically on upgrade to a paid plan. See the Privacy & Security overview for how we handle PHI.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Conjoin to record anyone without lawful consent, not to attempt to extract training data, not to share your account with other clinicians, and not to bypass the session retention limits.

6. Limitation of liability

Conjoin's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Conjoin is not liable for clinical decisions made on the basis of any draft output.
